MyBizz Solutions works at an agreed hourly rate, and every engagement is scoped and capped in writing before any work starts. Engagements begin with a paid AI assessment, so you know what a project would cost and what the payback looks like before you commit to a build. The cap you agree to is the most you can pay, and consultations and scoping are free.

How much does an AI consultant cost in Australia?
AI consulting in Australia typically ranges from around $150 to $500+ excl. GST per hour depending on experience and specialisation. Our rate depends on the scope and nature of the engagement, and it covers both the advisory work (deciding what to build and why) and the build itself. Before anything starts, we scope the engagement, agree the rate, and put a cap on the hours and cost in writing, so it never turns into an open-ended invoice. The figure is given at the free consultation.
What does a typical automation project cost?
It depends on scope, which is why we do not quote generic brackets. The assessment gives you a written estimate for your specific processes, hours at the agreed rate with a cap, before any build starts. The number you see is for your business, not an industry average, and most first builds are days of work rather than months.
How the assessment is priced
The assessment is scoped and capped before it starts, at the same agreed hourly rate, priced against the scope of the work: how many systems are involved, how many processes need mapping, and how much of your operation is in play. Do you charge for scoping or consultations?
No. The first consultation and the scoping that produces your written scope and hours cap are free, so you know the capped figure before spending a dollar. And if you engage us for a standalone consulting engagement and later go ahead with the project, the consulting fee is waived, so the advice costs nothing if you build with us.
What is not included in the quote?
Infrastructure and model costs are not included in consulting fees. Hosting, third-party software subscriptions and AI model usage are billed by those providers and depend on the tools chosen for your project. We set these costs out plainly in the proposal before work starts, so there are no surprises on the first invoice.
Why an hourly rate with a cap?
Because it gives you the certainty of a fixed number without paying for padding. Open-ended hourly billing puts all the risk on you, so we cap it: the scope and the maximum hours are written down before work starts, and the cap is the most you can pay. If the work comes in under the cap, you pay for the hours used, not the estimate.
