Frequently Asked Questions
Plain answers to the questions we hear most about AI consulting, workflow automation, pricing, data safety and how an engagement with MyBizz Solutions actually runs. If your question is not covered, contact us and we will answer it directly.
About us & pricing
MyBizz Solutions is an AI consulting and workflow automation firm based in Perth, Western Australia. We help Australian businesses of every size automate manual processes, connect their software systems, and build dashboards and data pipelines so owners and managers spend less time on admin and more time running the business.
AI consulting in Australia typically ranges from around $150 to $500+ excl. GST per hour depending on experience and specialisation. Our rate depends on the scope and nature of the engagement, agreed and capped in writing before any work starts, with the figure given at the free consultation. The cap gives you the same cost certainty as a fixed quote: you know the maximum you can pay before you commit. Consultations and scoping are free, and a standalone consulting fee is waived if the project goes ahead with us.
The AI assessment is a paid review of how your business actually runs: systems, workflows, where work gets stuck, where it gets done twice. You get a written summary of the highest-value opportunities in your business, what each would cost to implement, and what the payback looks like on your numbers. The assessment is scoped and capped before it starts, priced against the scope of your business. The initial consultation that scopes it is free.
Automation & projects
The most common high-value automations for small businesses are quoting and proposal generation, invoice creation and follow-up, data entry between systems (for example CRM to accounting software), customer follow-up sequences, and reporting dashboards that replace manual spreadsheet work. If a task is repetitive, rule-based and done on a computer, it can usually be automated.
A software developer builds what you specify. An AI consultant works out what should be built in the first place, whether existing tools can do it without custom development, and how it fits your operations. For most small businesses the expensive mistake is not bad code, it's automating the wrong thing. We do both the advisory and the build.
Small automations are typically live within one to three weeks. Larger builds involving multiple systems, dashboards or custom pipelines usually run four to eight weeks. The readiness assessment gives you a timeframe estimate before you commit to anything.
We work with the systems Australian businesses already use, including Xero, common CRMs, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and we build custom workflows and dashboards on modern web infrastructure. If you're not sure whether your current software can be connected, the answer is almost always yes.
Data & security
Yes, when it's set up properly. We build on infrastructure with row-level security and proper access controls, keep credentials in managed secrets systems rather than in code, and use commercial AI APIs whose terms exclude your data from model training. We'll explain exactly where your data lives and who can access it before anything goes live.
It depends on the tools used, and we address this per project. Where data residency matters, we can architect solutions using Australian-region hosting. We'll tell you plainly which components process data where, so you can make an informed call.
Working with us
Yes. We're based in Perth and work with clients across Western Australia and the rest of Australia. Most consulting and build work is delivered remotely, with on-site sessions available in the Perth metro area.
Ask what they'd automate first in your business and why, what the payback period looks like, who owns the intellectual property in what they build, where your data will be processed, and what happens when the engagement ends. Any consultant worth hiring will answer all five plainly. Our answers are on this site.
We work with Australian businesses from small operators to large organisations, and scope each engagement to the problem rather than the headcount. You don't need in-house IT. Most of our clients have never used AI in their business before.
Still deciding?
Start with a free consultation. It scopes the AI assessment and gives you the quote for it, so you can decide with the number in front of you. How pricing works is on the pricing page.
